The Cove

Oscar-winning documentary (2010) featuring state-of-the-art equipment, a group of activists, led by renowned dolphin trainer Ric O'Barry, infiltrate a cove near Taijii, Japan to expose both a shocking instance of animal abuse and a serious threat to human health.

BoCo Media worked with director Louie Psihoyos to write and distribute the first trailer for the film, introducing the Ground Zero notion of the world's captive dolphins, from Japan to the West Indies to Sea World. BoCo's co-founder, producer Paula DuPre' Pesmen, joined Louie, Ric and producer Fisher Stevens on the Oscars' stage.
